Dr. Mayer taught middle school and high school mathematics for 12 years and mentored BTSA new teachers for five years. Dr. Mayer served as a teacher specialist in educational technology for six years. She started a VEX Robotics program at Toll Middle School in 2016. After earning her CTE credential in Information and Communication Technology, Dr. Mayer became a Riverside County Office of Education CTE Instructional Specialist and K12 Pathway Coordinator for College of the Desert. With 25+ years of experience in education, Dr. Mayer is the Assistant Principal of Counseling & Special Education at Coachella Valley High School. Dr. Mayer is a Google for Education Certified Trainer. Dr. Mayer is a graduate of UCLA.
